I've also included books on how you can improve your diet and that of your dog. For many of us, keeping a good diet is a daily challenge (including for me). But dog diet is very, very easy. Remember, we encourage feeding a natural diet, and discourage all use of pre made diets and artificial foods.

Books we recommend at Bluegrace I am an avid reader. I find it an essential part of my learning process to read what others have written. I read across a wide range of subjects. I have recommend several books below and have separated them into groups. My suggestion is to save up to buy 3-4 at a time, and then spend a few weeks devouring those!

Books that I recommend for all dogs lovers, or soon to be dog lovers!	Kitty Braund has an extensive knowledge of the pwd, and whilst I might not agree with everything in the book, it's an excellent book for those starting out in the breed. There are some great photos within it.	This is a gorgeous children's book and should be in everyone's personal library. I bought 4 of them and gave them to all my friends with children.	Jan Fennell's latest book. You MUST get this book!	I've just bought this book, and yet again, this will provide a ton of evidence to you regarding why we and our dogs and cats should not eat grains.
You MUST order a book by Jan Fennell. These will change the way you look at dogs completely! If they don't, I'll give you your money back!	All of the books by Jan Fennell listed across here are essential reading!	More fabulous reading.	In terms of books about raw feeding, I'd simply recommend you join the raw feeding email list.	This book released Jan 11 is one I've ordered and will review shortly.
Read on for books about canine structure, and breeding....	An essential part of your canine education is learning about how dogs should be structured. Intelligent breeders will have this as a must on their book shelf.	Dan Rice is a very well respected author	Don't show or breed your dog without first reading this book. If you can't afford it, beg, or borrow it from someone else!	This book is the top requested book on dog breeding. And, you'll quickly find out that breeding is clearly something that takes intellect and courage, and a stack of money. Ask me how much money is in dog breeding - as I have lots in there, and not much coming back out!
This is one of the first books I bought about dog breeding. It's got some excellent information.	This too is another excellent book.	When I order books from Amazon, I set myself a budget to start with, otherwise, before long, I have bought 4-5 books! Again, this is another good book.	Buy this book just for the chapter on single tracking!	Buy this book before you have your litter, not after you've had it and you've got expensive vet bills looming.
Even if you know about breed type, this is still a great book to get.		This is the book you get when you really want technical information. Much of the language is scientific, but is useful when looking up detail on disease etc.	Yes, more theory, but by goodness this is a good book!
	An excellent book on dog training. Karen Pryor is considered a "guru".	Depending on the deal Amazon is currently running, you can buy this one with "Don't Shoot the Dog" and get an even better price.		This book is amazing. Once I learned what dog signals meant, I was able to communicate with one of my very fearful dogs, and help calm her considerably.
