Free eventsA series of events is planned for those with Portuguese Water Dogs in Australia. If you'd like to attend any of these events, be sure to contact Jane for further details. Please note: all events are "free", but you are expected to bring your own food and drinks, and pay for your own transport. If you are bringing a dog, you need to bring a crate and be in control of your dog at all times, in order to make this as successful and friendly as possible.We are very proud of the events we offer for our puppy owners, and prospective puppy owners. We are the only kennel of Portuguese Water Dogs in the world where this is offered. In fact, you'll be looking for a long time before you find a breeder of any other breed around the world who offers such. At Bluegrace we consider ourselves to be "bleeding edge" with the services we provide for you.
Grooming workshopThe first weekend in September, we're having a grooming workshop and get together. So you can bring along your dogs for a hydrobath and blow dry, etc. All hands on deck where you will learn how to manage clippers and scissors etc. Also learn the finer points of hydro bathing. If you are a trainee judge or a judge, or even a breed enthusiast, there's an open invite for you as well.So we'll start early afternoon and have a bbq etc as we progress. It should be another great day. If you are bringing your dog, you will need to bring a crate. If you don't have one, let us know, and we'll make sure we have enough on hand. Depending on time, we may also be able to schedule a session on cycling with your dog.
Royal TimesCelebrations and get togethers are held for each of the Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth Royals, depending on who is visiting.
Puppy EvaluationPuppy evaluations will be held in early September. Contact Jane for more details if you'd like to attend.
Health Seminar19th August, 2006 - working through all the issues the breed is currently seeing, what we're seeing in our lines, and the strategy for moving forward. Specific emphasis this year on Addison's Disease. All welcome!

Dog Showing WorkshopEver wanted to show your dog? At a date to be announced, Jane will help you learn more about how to show your dog.
