Bluegrace - as featured on Talk to the Animals

Our dogs were recently featured on the great TV program, "Talk to the Animals". We do have puppies recently born, which will be available shortly. Click here to see our gorgeous puppy pics.

Our Girls

Girls are great. They are the backbone of the breed, being the preferred working dog by the Portuguese fishermen. We're currently putting our good photos together, so feel free to browse and come back, as we will be adding more pictures.

Vanilla

Vanilla is one of our young girls who at her first show in the US, picked up a wonderful Best of Breed win. Well done to her owners there!

Vanilla is also one of the very vew PWDs involved in lure coursing which she does simply for fun! She is the only Australian bred PWD that has participated in this activity, and shows the true versality of this breed. On this day in the photo below, she gave the borzois a lesson in chasing!

Sue Narmi

Introducing Sue, a black and white curly coat. She's nearly 5 months of age in this photo, and her coat will get progressively curlier as she gets older. This photo was taken after a bath, with the coat combed, but not blow dried.

This photo below shows Sue, handled by Will, at nearly 6 months of age. Multiple Best Baby of Breed, Sue has had a great start to the show scene, and seems to enjoy being handled by Will best of all.

Jancy

An outstanding youngster, out of Fancy, being campaigned by my great friend Belinda Mitchell, in Queensland. This is Jancy as a baby. Note the perfect tail set - this is how the tail should look, and the fantastic rear angles. She is a well balanced bitch.

Bondy

Bondy is hitting her straps in the ACT and lives with one of my great friends. More pictures will come soon.

Fancy

Fancy is in the top three of bitches we have ever bred. Out of Shelly, she is now retired and is leader of the pack (well after me!). She has an excellent working drive, combined with top conformation (an Australian Champion), and an excellent temperament. She has produced wonderful pups that now live around the world, and her stunning son "Ice Man" is now in the show ring in the US.

Fancy = a real champion

Now that Fancy has retired from the ring, she is now a steady companion for Will.

you have a ball, I will follow

And Fancy just loves working in the water. She is another one of our true working dogs.

I can try to jump anything

Pearl

... the gorgeous Pearl, the first of the pinto puppies to hit the show ring. Pearl has shown to have excellent working drive and has produced some outstanding puppies. She continues in the show ring, but where she excels is as a working drive. Yet again, she is another Bluegrace dog with true working ability combined with outstanding temperament.

Nigella

With littermate Gordon, Nigella has proven an outstanding bitch. Multiple Best of Breed record within a very competitive show circuit. Nigella has also recently picked up a Group 3 Award (3rd in Group), beating several Best in Show winning dogs from other breeds along the way. We expect her to continue with her fantastic show results.

Rose

Rose is an Australian Champion, A rated for PRA, and has bred some lovely pups.

Judy

Judy, Champion Bluegrace Always a Way, was my first curly champion. A gorgeous girl, Judy produced some beautiful puppies with temperaments of strength and resilience. Her strongest litter produced the gorgeous Bear and Eddie, who then went on to produce the F litter, a fantastic litter.

Tess

Retired after one litter, due to the production of shy puppies, Tess was our first home bred champion. She now lives a wonderful retired life with a family in Port Melbourne. This is Tess below as an 8 week old puppy.

Shelly

... our foundation breed. No one is as special as your very first water dog. She is the most important bitch in the breed in the history of Australia. An outstanding mother to pups, Shelly has been our matriach for a very long time. Shelly our foundation bitch
